Unlike Meta, Apple doesn't care about strengthening our social connections. That is just not who they are. So yes, calling the Apple Vision Pro a "Super TV" makes a lot of sense to me.
However, there will be plenty of 3rd party visionOS apps to cater the need for connecting with friends, families and coworkers. And I think it's going to be pretty exciting.
For one, Apple users who usually don't have the opportunity to meet (because they live/work on different continents) will experience gatherings that actually feel pretty real. It brings them closer together.
For another, VR provides (endless) possibilities to make abstract concepts (think "strategy" for example) tangible. This will probably have a huge impact on how knowledge workers work together.
